TOP TOOLS Indianapolis, IN
TOP TOOLS
Listed below are the players from this event who our scouts felt best fit into each category. There is no set number we try and reach for each category, and in some cases we may not even list all of the tools – it all depends on what the players show us at the event.
Please Note: Many players are selected for our Under Armour National Tournament and Training Camps that do not appear on the Top Tools list. The Tournament and Training Camp selections take into consideration the player’s entire performance and how the scouts feel they will perform in a National setting. There are a number of instances where our strongest overall baseball players do not appear on the Top Tool lists. A player might have 3 or 4 good tools, but none that are outstanding so his name does not appear in this section, however he might be selected for one of our National Tournaments because of his overall skill level.
60 yard dash times will be listed in order from lowest to highest and fastball velocities will be listed in order from highest to lowest. All other categories will be listed in alphabetical order.
The Top Tools were selected by Jim Gemler (Director of On-Field Sessions / Scouting).
