For every SCR | Under Armour Tryout Event throughout the United States & Canada Baseball Factory Scouts will be selecting a Top Prospect, Top Underclassmen (When applicable), & additional players who showed at minimum one plus tool.

TOP PROSPECT

Randy Castillo | RHP | 2008 | 6’2/180 lbs | Aiea High (HI) HS – Randy is a legitimate pro prospect from the mound. He has a long, lean pro body type that will surely hold more muscle. He hit 94 mph and sat in the low 90’s with a long, loose arm action and good leverage. Curveball, slider, & Split finger pitch were all nasty. Randy was exciting to watch and should be more exciting to follow.

TOP UNDERCLASSMEN

Jeremy Fujimoto | SS/RHP | 2009 | 5’11/145 | Punahou School (HI) HS – Fujimoto is an athletic, lean two-way college prospect. At just 145 lbs, he should continue to improve simply from overall strength gains. He was 85-88 mph with life and some late run and two plus (High School) off speed pitches. Easy actions and a plus arm along with a balanced, compact approach at the plate also makes Fujimoto a legitimate SS prospect as well.

Please Note:  Many players are selected for our Under Armour National
Tournament and Training Camps that do not appear on the Top Tools list.  The
Tournament and Training Camp selections take into consideration the player’s
entire performance and how the scouts feel they will perform in a National
setting.  There are a number of instances where our strongest overall
baseball players do not appear on the Top Tool lists.  A player might have
3 or 4 good tools, but none that are outstanding so his name does not appear
in this section, however he might be selected for one of our National
Tournaments because of his overall skill level.
