For every SCR | Under Armour Tryout Event throughout the United States & Canada Baseball Factory Scouts will be selecting a Top Prospect, Top Underclassmen (When applicable), & additional players who showed at minimum one plus tool.

TOP PROSPECT
Thomas Lawrence | 2009 | RHP | 5’10/195 lbs. | West Haven (CT) HS – Lawrence is a strong bodied RHP that touched 92 mph. He sat at 88-89 mph and it was flat and straight. His CB, CH, SL were all above (HS) avg, but still has a lot of room to make them even better. He throws a heavy ball with a fluid, in line delivery and easy arm action. He will be fun to follow and is a highly recruitable right hand arm that will only get better.

Please Note: Many players are selected for our Under Armour National
Tournament and Training Camps that do not appear on the Top Tools list. The
Tournament and Training Camp selections take into consideration the player’s
entire performance and how the scouts feel they will perform in a National
setting. There are a number of instances where our strongest overall
baseball players do not appear on the Top Tool lists. A player might have
3 or 4 good tools, but none that are outstanding so his name does not appear
in this section, however he might be selected for one of our National
Tournaments because of his overall skill level.
