Three Baseball Factory Alumni Star in Futures Game
Billed as the “stars of tomorrow,” Baseball Factory alumni Delmon Young, B.J. Upton and Lastings Milledge, suited up for the United States team in the XM Satellite Futures Game at Comerica Park in Detroit yesterday.

Heading into the game, Young (drafted 2003, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, first round, first overall) was .336 hitting with a .386 OBP, .582 slugging percentage, 59 R, 20 HR, 71 RBI and 25 stolen bases as an outfielder with class-AA Montgomery.
Upton (drafted 2002, Tampa Bay, first round, second overall) was hitting .292 with a .377 on-base percentage, 53 runs scored, nine home runs, 43 runs batted in and 27 stolen bases as a shortstop with class-AAA Durham.
Milledge (drafted 2003, New York Mets, first round, twelfth overall) was hitting .302 with a .385 OBP, .418 SLG, 48 R, 4 HR, 22 RBI and 18 SB as an outfielder at class-high A St. Lucie.
