Dear Coach Sclafani and Coach Naddelman,

            Thank
you for all of your help at the Baseball Factory since I was playing
little league. The indoor winter camps at Chelsea Piers, John Jay
College and Hightstown, NJ were instrumental to developing my interest
in the game at an early age (when I was about twelve), while getting
better. As time went by and I wanted to become a better player and
hopefully play college baseball, your mini camps were unbelievably
helpful. I can remember my first infield camp when I was in 8^th
grade. I was one of the smallest guys there and I was amazed at how
good the high school seniors were. I knew I wanted to play like those
guys in four years from then. Along with the infield camps, the hitting
mini camps and lessons made me the hitter I am now. When I was a
freshman and sophomore in high school, the hitting mini camps were a
great way for me to just get an overview of what I needed to work on
and get a lot of hacks in over a 2 day period. As I got older, lessons
with Coach Schilling, were the best thing for me. Being able to work
one on one on more specific parts of my swing was great to help me fine
tune things for college coaches to look at. When I knew playing college
ball was definitely a goal I wanted to reach, the exclusive events were
a great opportunity to get some training in and see what competition
was out there. Lastly, the Factory was a huge part of my college
process. They helped take a lot of stress off of me by contacting
coaches and sending my video out to them. It was in September of 2005
when Macalesters Coach Parrington had called me, saying that I was
referred to him. At that point, I was really unsure of where I wanted
to go, but after sending him my video and I visited the school,
Macalester was where I ended up applying early. It was such a relief to
have all of the college applications process finished so early by
applying early. Had it not been for the Factory, I would have probably
never come across Macalester. I just wanted to take this opportunity to
say thank you to all the coaches at the Factory who have helped me get
where I am today.
