The Florida State League announced today the Player of the Week for the period April 8 thru April 18, 2004. The Player of the Week was Dunedin’s very own VITO CHIARAVALLOTI. In eleven games he collected 15 hits in 38 plate appearances for a .395 average. His hits included 3 homeruns and 6 doubles. He scored 7 times and drove in 11 runs. His OBP was .517 and his slugging percentage was .789. This is Vito’s second season in professional baseball, spending last season in Auburn (NY-Penn League).
