Please accept my apology for the delay in writing to thank you for all your support in helping Jeff realize his dream — playing baseball at the University of Michigan. It was quite a process, and being neophytes in this area, one that I don’t believe we could have navigated without your help. Everyone we worked with in your organization, especially you and Dan Forester, was extremely attentive, listening carefully to our inquiries and handling us and our son with great professionalism and a personal level of sensitivity.

Some boys, of course, the 6′ 5″ pitchers who throw 95 mph, are not going to have a problem being seen by college coaches. The coaches will find them. But for the kid with talent, without the size and visibility of such players, understanding the process is critical.

From our first introduction to the Baseball Factory, we were impressed. Your ratings of the players were objective, credible with college coaches and provided a realistic baseline against which we could assess Jeff’s chances for pursuing baseball opportunities at certain schools and within certain conferences. Once we created the list, however, we truly discovered your value, Simply put, we would have had no way of accessing coaches and obtaining critical information about a particular school’s needs for certain position players, left-handed hitters, etc. if not for you. This helped us focus our efforts on those showcases and colleges where Jeff could maximize his opportunities to be seen by the coaches at schools he was considering. And, following the events, you were able to obtain candid appraisals of Jeff’s performance and the coaches’ reactions and evaluations that, again , were not available to us as parents. Then, when the offers started coming in, you helped us evaluate them and our options. Your candor, judgment and guidance were highly valued and much appreciated.

I know that Jeff thought that the instructional opportunities that Baseball Factory provided were outstanding and helped to keep him sharp during the arduous showcase and college camp process. I trust his judgment on that. But from Lisa’s and my perspective as parents, your interest and support in guiding our son through this process left no doubt in our mind that one of the smartest decisions we made in the college process was working with you.

Thank you again, and may you and your company continue to help other baseball parents’ sons fulfill their dreams.

This letter is From Jeff Diamond Baseball Factory Player

Working with Rob was the smartest decision that I could have made for my baseball future.  Not only was he available seven days a week, but he was also honest and supportive of all my goals.  Whatever school I was interested in, Rob immediately researched the program and contacted the coaches.  He updated me nearly everyday with information on showcases, tryouts, tournaments, or updates from the schools that I was interested in.

When he was able to speak with coaches, he did a wonderful job promoting me both as a person and as a ballplayer.  Before every showcase or tryout that I went to during the summer and the fall, the coaches were already fully updated with my progress from past events by the time that I arrived.  Rob was also a great friend throughout the process as well.  He always gave me a boost of confidence when we spoke and believed in my ability one hundred percent.
