Brady Selected for All-Star game
This article is taken from The Journal. Tyler Brady was named a 2004 Baseball Factory Preseason All American. Baseball Factory congratulates Brady on his success this season and wishes him the best of luck in the future.
Tyler Brady of Williamston, has recently been selected to play in the North/South All-Star Baseball Game at Coastal Carolina Stadium June 10-12.
Brady was selected by the All-Star coaching staff from players throughout the upstate. He has also been named to the All-Region Team as well as being named Region Player of the Year.
Brady finished his senior season at Palmetto High School with a .596 batting average. He had 15 singles, 8 doubles, 5 triples, 14 RBI’s and had a fielding percentage of .975 with only two errors the entire season.
One highlight from Brady’s senior season was a complete game no-hitter he pitched against Dixie in the Spring Break tournament at B-HP.
Brady also received the 2004 Presidential Scholar award and was also named to the Who’s Who Among High School Students “Academic” and “Sports” editions. Brady plans to go to college and continue his baseball career.
