Baseball Factory’s All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Recap
Baseball Factory’s All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament, powered by Under Armour, concluded this past weekend in Auburndale, Florida and was an exciting and successful event for players in attendance. The level of play was remarkable and fun to watch for both coaches and families.
The type of talent assembled at the tournament shows that Baseball Factory’s tryouts give players around the country the chance to shine.
Of the players who attended the event this past weekend, 16 previously attended a National Training event. In addition, 28 players had attended a National Tournament event like Baseball Factory’s Pirate City World Series. There were also five former Little League Baseball® World Series participants on the roster.
Players checked in at the complex in Auburndale on Friday and listened to guest speakers like CEO and Baseball Factory founder, Steve Sclafani and former San Diego Padres starting pitcher, Brian Tollberg during the Opening Ceremony. Players were announced and received their certificates on field, followed by a team picture.
On Saturday morning, players ran the 60-yard dash, participated in velocity testing and received defensive instruction, evaluations and cage work. Later, teams went through offensive evaluations and filming, followed by a game to end the day.
To wrap up a great weekend, Baseball Factory’s Jeff Brazier addressed players and their families on the importance of starting the college recruiting process early. A double header followed the seminar.
