Baseball Factory Proudly Welcomes Two New Members to Our Staff

In our continuous efforts to provide high school players with the best possible service, the Baseball Factory is proud to announce the additions of Steven Kling and Jason Ronai to our organization.

Steven Kling

Kling will serve as a Personal Recruiting Director. According to Kelly Kulina, Baseball Factory’s Exclusive Program Director, Kling will concentrate on West Coast and Southeast players in our program. In addition, he will assist the Exclusive staff in the placement of all Senior Exclusive Players. Kling will not only bring his baseball knowledge and experiences to Baseball Factory, but his tremendous number of contacts throughout the country as well.

Kling was the top assistant coach at the University of Florida from 1994- 2001. Between 1989 and 1994, he worked as an assistant coach at Pepperdine University, Ventura Community College, and Poterville Community College. In 1992, Kling helped lead Pepperdine to a national championship. He has also coached his teams to three NCAA College World Series, eight NCAA Tournaments, two SEC Conference Championships, and three West Coast Conference Championships. In 1996, Kling was named the “Collegiate Baseball Assistant Coach of the Year.”

Some of the players coached by Kling in professional baseball include Brad Wilkerson (Montreal Expos), David Eckstein (Anaheim Angels), Mark Ellis (Oakland Athletics), and David Newhan (San Diego Padres).

Jason Ronai

Jason Ronai has been named as Baseball Factory’s Director of On-Field sessions. He will oversee our B.A.T.S. and Rookie events at stadiums across the country. Ronai spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Indiana State University and was the team’s hitting instructor last fall.

Ronai spent his college baseball career playing the outfield in the Big South Conference at UNC Asheville. He currently ranks second at UNC Asheville among the all-time leaders in career hits and stolen bases. After college, he played a season of professional baseball with the Alexandria Aces.

Ronai plans to share his baseball knowledge and experiences with young high school players all over America and is very excited about having the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the Baseball Factory.
