Baseball Factory is pleased to announce that we will be bolstering our already impressive baseball operations and scouting staff with the addition of an old friend.  Andy Ferguson, who worked at Baseball Factory from 1999 – 2006, is coming back to rejoin the team.  Ferguson began with Baseball Factory as a part-time employee in 1999 and came on full time in 2000.  He worked in various positions, helping the organization in numerous capacities, highlighted by his time as the senior director of scouting.

“I am very excited to be part of the Baseball Factory team again.  I look forward to helping both the scouting and baseball operations departments,” said Ferguson.

Ferguson was a catcher at North Carolina State University. His playing career was followed by a season coaching with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He went on to serve as an Associate Scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Diego Padres.

Ferguson will work as a scouting consultant for Baseball Factory and Team One.  He will serve as a coach and instructor at various fall and winter events including the Arizona Fall Classic and the Dodgertown Christmas Camp & Tournament.  In addition, Ferguson will scout players at the Team One National Showcase and other Team One and Baseball Factory events.

We are thrilled to have Andy Ferguson back on board and look forward to his contributions.  He was a valued employee for many years and will be able to transition right back in with the Baseball Factory scouting and baseball operations departments.
