Back To School
As many of the nation’s Colleges and Universities are gearing up for Homecoming I wanted to recognize some of the 2009 Baseball Factory and Team One College Commitments. These players proved that they have what it takes to play at the next level (Do You?). Over 650 of our players have informed us of their college commitments. If you don’t see your name on the list, please email us and we’ll add you. Our 2009 grads have committed to DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO schools. Our players will be all over the country from the University of Hawaii (Bryson Namba | C) to the University of Maine (Mike Fransoso | SS).
Many of our players will become teammates as they come from all over the country to play together in college. The University of Arizona has five* Baseball Factory alumni that will start their collegiate career in Tucson, AZ. Those five players come from four states including Arizona (Casey Upperman | RHP), California (Alex Mejia | SS, Robert Refsnyder | OF), Nevada (Joey Rickard | OF) and North Dakota (Cole Frenzel |3B/SS). A few other schools with a heavy influence (at least five) of incoming Baseball Factory Alumni are the University of Florida (8), Arizona State (6), North Carolina (6), Oregon (6), South Florida (6), Tulane (6), Cal State Fullerton (5), Florida State (5), Ole Miss (5), Palm Beach CC (5), San Jacinto (5), Santa Clara University (5) and Stanford (5).
Everyone at Baseball Factory and Team One wants to congratulate all of this year’s Baseball Factory success stories. As the 2009 Grads start their collegiate baseball careers this fall we wish them our best.

*Nine Baseball Factory players committed to the University of Arizona, however after the 2009 MLB First Year Player Draft, Randal Grichuk (OF), Ian Krol (LHP), Aaron Altherr (OF) and Trent Stevenson (RHP) all signed professional contracts, forgoing their college commitment.
