On Sunday, May 3 the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout tour rolled through Southeastern Michigan with a stop at Adrian College. Nicolay Field, home of the Adrian Bulldogs, was dedicated in 2008 and boasts a ProGrass surface along with lights, locker rooms, a training room and a heated press box.
Top performers by measurable category appear below:

At that event, Cameron Koch ran 7.89 in the 60 yard dash, Evan Sexsmith ran 8.19, and Bowen Armstrong ran 8.75.

Even Sexsmith
Over the course of three events after August 2011, Evan Sexsmith steadily lowered his 60 yard dash. In December 2011 at the Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Vero Beach, he ran 7.90, and by the January 2013 Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout & Premium Video Program in Grand Rapids he was down to 7.50. His move down to 6.97 in May 2015 marked an improvement of 1.2 seconds in a little less than four years.
Cameron Koch also attended the Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Vero Beach in December 2011, where he actually ran a little worse than he did a few months earlier. We wouldn’t see him again until May 2015, at which time his 7.13 represented an improvement of over seven-tenths of a second.

Bowen Armstrong
The biggest improvement came from Bowen Armstrong, who pushed his 60 yard dash down from 8.75 to 7.20 between August 2011 and the September 2014 Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout in Troy, MI.
At the same time, Armstrong’s raw velocity was going up. He posted 61 mph in August 2011, and marked a jump of over ten mph when he posted 72 mph raw velocity in September 2014. In May 2015, he recorded 76 mph raw velocity and 7.18 in the 60 yard dash — marking improvements of 15 mph raw velocity, and 1.57 seconds in the 60 yard dash.
