Baseball Factory Alumni Starters on Opening Day

After Sunday night’s Opening Night matchup between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, today marks Opening Day for the rest of Major League Baseball as 14 games are on tap to begin the 2015 season.

It’s exciting to see Baseball Factory represented well, as alumnus fill the rosters of major league clubs around the country, at nearly every position in today’s starting lineups. Some of those players include:

Nolan Arenado – Batting 5th, playing third base for the Colorado Rockies on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers.

C.J. Cron – Batting 7th and will serve as the designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels as they start the season on the road against the Seattle Mariners.

Josh Donaldson – Batting 5th, playing third base for the Toronto Blue Jays as they face the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Logan Forsythe- Batting 7th, playing second base for the new-look Tampa Bay Rays as they begin the 2015 season at home against the Baltimore Orioles.

Scooter Gennett – Batting 7th, playing second base for the Brewers at home against the Rockies.

Bryce Harper – Batting 3rd, playing left field for the Washington Nationals as they take on the New York Mets at Nationals Park.

Josh Harrison – Harrison will bat lead off, playing third base for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Cincinnati to face the Reds this afternoon.

Eric Hosmer – Hosmer is looking to get the Kansas City Royals back to the World Series, as he bats clean-up, playing first base in the home opener against the Chicago White Sox.

Jake Marisnick – Marisnick had an impressive spring training for the Houston Astros, batting 9th and playing center field today, as Houston welcomes the Cleveland Indians to town.

George Springer – Playing alongside of Marisnick, Springer will bat second and play right field for Houston and their new-look lineup.

David Wright – Wright is healthy and looking to boost the New York Mets up the standings in the N.L. East this season, batting third and playing third base in Washington against the Nationals.

Christian Yelich – Yelich, an exciting young player for the Miami Marlins, bats second and plays left field as the Marlins welcome the Atlanta Braves to town.
