EIGHT ADDITIONAL PLAYERS SELECTED TO THE 2014 UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA BASEBALL GAME

Baseball Factory Adds to Growing Roster of the Nation’s Top High School Baseball Players Showcasing Their Talents on August 16 Under the Lights at Wrigley Field in Chicago

Baltimore, MD – Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA) the Baltimore, MD-based leader in sports performance apparel, footwear and equipment, today announced eight additional players to its roster for the 2014 Under Armour® All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory. The annual showcase will be played at historic Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 16 at 7:05 p.m. CST, featuring 36 of the best high school baseball players in the country. This will mark the first time in its seven-year history the Under Armour All-America Game will be played at night, creating the ultimate Major League experience for the players and their fans. More players will be added to the roster over the next several months leading up to the game. The game will air nationally on MLB Network on Sunday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m. CST.
 
The players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts and will compete in an American vs. National team match-up. The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game is the culmination of a four-day baseball celebration, including a formal workout for Major League Baseball (MLB) scouts and a homerun derby.
 
The eight players who have most recently committed to compete in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game include:
• Chris Betts – C, 6’1, 205, Wilson High School, CA
• Kyle Dean – OF, 6’2, 205, Poway High School, CA
• Juan Hillman – LHP, 6’2, 175, Olympia High School, FL
• Justin Hooper – LHP, 6’6, 220, De La Salle High School, CA
• Anthony Molina – RHP, 6’5, 185, Somerset Academy, FL
• Austin Riley – RHP/IF, 6’3, 220, DeSoto Central High School, MS
• Thomas Szapucki – LHP, 6’2, 190, Dwyer High School, FL
• Kyle Tucker – OF, 6’3, 175, Plant High School, FL
 
“Baseball Factory continues to search the globe for the best high school players that qualify for participation in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game," said Steve Bernhardt, Executive VP of Baseball at Baseball Factory and Chairman of the selection committee for the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game. "These eight players have made a strong impression on our scouts and we are excited to see them perform at Wrigley Field this August. They are great additions to an already talented roster for the event in Chicago."

Since the game’s inception in 2008, 151 of the 171 draft eligible players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft including 42 first round picks. Top players that went on to sign professional contracts in 2013 include Clint Frazier (2013 No.5 Overall Pick, Cleveland Indians); Trey Ball (2013 No.7 Overall Pick, Boston Red Sox); Austin Meadows (2013 No.9 Overall Pick, Pittsburgh Pirates); Dominic Smith (2013 No.11 Overall Pick, New York Mets); JP Crawford (2013 No.16 Overall Pick, Philadelphia Phillies); Nick Ciuffo (2013 No.21 Overall Pick, Tampa Bay Rays); Hunter Harvey (2013 No.22 Overall Pick, Baltimore Orioles); and Billy McKinney (2013 No.24 Overall Pick, Oakland Athletics).
