Baseball Factory Names First Set of Nation’s Top High School Baseball Players to Showcase Their Talents Under the Lights in Chicago and on MLB Network
Baltimore, MD – Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA) the Baltimore, MD-based leader in sports performance apparel, footwear and accessories, today announced that the 2014 Under Armour® All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory, will be played at Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 16 at 7:05 p.m. CST. This will mark the first time in its seven-year history the Under Armour All-America Game will be played at night, creating the ultimate Major League experience for the players and their fans. Additionally, Baseball Factory today announced the first ten players selected to the roster for the game, which will air live nationally on MLB Network and showcase 36 of the best high school players.
Players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts and will compete in an American vs. National team match-up. The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game is the culmination of a four-day baseball celebration, including a formal workout for Major League Baseball (MLB) scouts and a homerun derby.

All ten selected players will be 2015 high school graduates, including outfielders Dazmon Cameron and Ryan Johnson, who participated in the 2013 showcase and now join an elite group of two-time Under Armour All-Americans. Three of the ten selected players were announced on January 17 during the opening ceremony of the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament, powered by Baseball Factory, in Tucson, Arizona. They include IF Ke’Bryan Hayes, RHP Sati Santa Cruz and SS Nicholas Shumpert. The following is the roster of the first ten players who have committed to compete in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game:

Since the game’s inception in 2008, 151 of the 171 draft eligible players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft including 42 first round picks. Top players that went on to sign professional contracts in 2013 include Clint Frazier (2013 No.5 Overall Pick, Cleveland Indians); Trey Ball (2013 No.7 Overall Pick, Boston Red Sox); Austin Meadows (2013 No.9 Overall Pick, Pittsburgh Pirates); Dominic Smith (2013 No.11 Overall Pick, New York Mets); JP Crawford (2013 No.16 Overall Pick, Philadelphia Phillies); Nick Ciuffo (2013 No.21 Overall Pick, Tampa Bay Rays); Hunter Harvey (2013 No.22 Overall Pick, Baltimore Orioles); and Billy McKinney (2013 No.24 Overall Pick, Oakland Athletics).
