For every SCR | Under Armour Tryout Event throughout the United States & Canada Baseball Factory Scouts will be selecting a Top Prospect, Top Underclassmen (When applicable), & additional players who showed at minimum one plus tool.

TOP PROSPECT
Tyler Cardey | 2009 | OF | 6’2/180lbs. | Mandarin (FL) HS – Tyler has a plus body type, arm strength and overall athleticism. From the OF, shows range and 1st step quickness. Gets feet into fielding position well and gets rid of the ball quickly and accurately despite some arm side run. Has a lot of potential defensively with his athletic actions. Swing is level, quick, and he stays through the ball well. His overall approach to hitting is sound. Tyler is an exciting young player.

Tournament and Training Camps that do not appear on the Top Tools list. The
Tournament and Training Camp selections take into consideration the player’s
entire performance and how the scouts feel they will perform in a National
setting. There are a number of instances where our strongest overall
baseball players do not appear on the Top Tool lists. A player might have
3 or 4 good tools, but none that are outstanding so his name does not appear
in this section, however he might be selected for one of our National
Tournaments because of his overall skill level.
