Under Armour Christmas Classic – Day 2 Recap

As the second day of pool play continued tough games became the theme of the day. All four Baseball Factory teams lost their double headers. However, there were many close games that came down to the last out.

In the first games of the day the Navy team took a 1-0 lead into the 7^th inning before surrendering two runs in the bottom of the inning. Even though the Navy team didn’t win on the scoreboard they played well throughout the game. They shut down the now top seeded Players Baseball Academy for six innings.

In the second round of games the Red team down 8-0 at one point fought back in the bottom of the 7^th. The scored four runs making it a one run game with a runner on second before having the last out recorded.

Even though the Baseball Factory teams didn’t get the results that they wanted they go into tomorrows Championship round with confidence and a clean slate. We look forward to the next round and the chance to play for the Under Armour Christmas Classic Championship.
