Connor Aube Signs On To Play At Tennessee-Martin
2016 OF/SS, Connor Aube, a 2016 OF/SS from Falmouth High School in Falmouth, ME, has signed on to play at the University of Tennessee-Martin to play for the Skyhawks Baseball program.
Aube, who also played football for Falmouth has shined brightly on the diamond, being named a First-Team All-Conference selection in three consecutive seasons (2013-’15).
This past season, Aube led his team with a .412 batting average and five doubles to go along with a triple and 11 RBI. His 20 runs scored and 13 stolen bases also led all Yachtsman players as the team finished 10-6 in the Class-A South region.
We have seen Aube’s skills grow over the course of the last two years, first coming to an Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout in Rindge, NH back in February of 2014. Five months later, Aube showed off his wheels during the Under Armour Southwest Championships, making things happen on the base paths with his speed, being clocked at 6.61. The talented right-handed hitter was impressive at the plate and defensively, utilized his quick feet and made tough throws to his left and right.
He then went to Arizona last January for the 2015 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season tournament, continuing to show that his all-around skill-set was going to translate to the next level of his career and life, and it has.
The senior will look to build upon another playoff push for the Yachtsman in 2016.
