Hector Rabago
Riverside Poly High, Riverside, CA
Riverside, CA – Hector Rabago is drawing a lot of attention. The 5-10, 175 pound sophomore’s impressive play seems to grab the spotlight when he’s on the field.
At shortstop, Rabago displays a smooth style in fielding and he possesses a cannon-like arm.
It’s the same way when he toes the rubber for Coach Aaron Moore’s team.
“Hector is the real deal,” Moore says.
“He plays the game hard and with Hector you have to pull the reins instead of pushing.”
Moore has Rabago hitting in the No. 5 slot in Riverside’s line-up of power hitters.
One of Rabago’s top performances came in a tournament where he was named Most Valuable Player.
In four games, he hit five home runs and on the mound he won one game and saved another in relief.
It’s no wonder everyone is saying “And he’s only a sophomore!”
