2008 Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament Day Two Recap

As the sun broke over the mountain much needed relief was given to the players, parents and scouts that were in attendance. As in Day 1 there was a frost delay in Day 2. However, this delay was not as long and play got under way in a little colder weather than the previous day. Four rounds of games were played today where every team played in two games. All of the games went well and the all the scouts in attendance were very impressed. In total there were 31 total Major League scouts representing 22 of the 30 Major League organizations. Also in attendance was Baseball America and MLB.com. MLB.com wrote up an article on the event which can be seen by clicking here. Overall the entire event was a great success. The 2008 Under Armour Pre-Season brought 254 of the best players, representing 38 states to Tucson for the only "Non-Paper" Pre-Season All-America honors. The Baseball Factory, Team One and all of our proud sponsors would like to thank everyone for participating and coming out to make this event such a huge success.
